September was especially nice for sunsets around mid month for us. The colors were so vivid that the pictures really don't do justice to the actual thing! Double-click on the pics to see enlarged picture, it's a lot nicer for viewing. :)

September Sunsets - Mid month

Wow! Did I really take this picture with my cheap digital camera?  I DID, I DID!  Last week, my husband and I went to visit friends that were renting a beach house in Old Saybrook, CT.  We really hit the right evening and I took this shot. I didn't have to make any adjustments for clarity, lighting or color.  It was just like this when we were there!

Newest addition to my garden around the pool. The label said "Purple Parasols Stoke's Astor".   It's doing great so far.  I hope to see it again next year!

I call it "Sunrise Moon".   First time I ever saw a sunrise moon at our house.  I just HAD to take a picture for the record.  Give me thumbs up if you like this one!   5:45 AM 7/26/10

While I'm waiting for another sunset in my own back yard, I thought I'd post this one my husband and I witnessed in St. Lucia. Crazy, huh? Anyone ever see one like this?

This is another one I took tonight by the pool.

This is a flower that bloomed in the Fall in very cold weather. This year it bloomed in the Spring! Anyone out there know its name or anything about it? I'd love to get another one!

The pool is surrounded by gardens and there is a stone patio on the other side of the house with gardens as well. As you can see, we have our work cut out for us! (ENJOYABLE work that is...)
